For every opinion, there is an equal and opposite opinion.

Kent Alan Robinson
About This Quote

This saying is in reference to the theory of “for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” An example of this would be when a person jumps off a cliff. The person will receive immediate pain when he hits the ground, but the same pain won’t come to him if he falls off a cliff in slow motion. That’s because when he hits the ground, he will have time to think about the pain ahead of time so that his body can adjust to it when it arrives.
